Lifestores Pharmacy
Country: Nigeria
“Lifestores’ mission is to democratise access to primary healthcare by building the core operating infrastructure for pharmacies, which are often the first port of call and most visited space in primary healthcare in developing markets. We have started in Nigeria, where we are addressing challenges surrounding the high prevalence of fake medications, high out-of-pocked drug costs to end patients, and inconsistent quality of care.
We operate a tech-enabled B2B marketplace which connects retail pharmacies directly to pharmaceutical suppliers – we currently support ~70 affiliate pharmacies, as well as 6 pharmacies which we fully own/operate & use as experience centres for our technology. Our stack also includes point-of-sale software, integrations with third-party lenders, telemedicine and (very soon) e-commerce. We start by helping pharmacies reduce their procurement costs, and then grow our services to digitise their end-to-end operations. Through the network of affiliate pharmacies, we are impacting the lives of 200,000+ end patients. ”
