Ubaka Chukwuemeka Michael is a Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice with significant experience in teaching, research in pharmacy and public health. He has held various roles as Principal Research Investigator and Lead Consultant in a number of notable public health projects. He currently serves as the Honorable Commissioner at the Ministry of Health in Imo State, overseeing healthcare reforms at the Secondary and Tertiary levels.
His midterm focus is on strengthening the health system in the state to be resilient and agile to internal and external changes that threaten to erode gains that have been made within the health space.
Dr. Ubaka has specialized expertise in Health Systems Supply Chain Management, often collaborating with government and international agencies such as NPHCDA, BMGF, DFID, KHUENE FOUNDATION, ISCEA etc.
