Siechieh is a seasoned project management professional with over 24 years of experience in clinical research. He began his medical career as a Combat Medic attached to the US Marine Corps for eight years. He obtained an MBA and MHA and continues to be intrigued by drug development, project management, and risk management. His choice indications are Infectious Disease, Oncology (solid and liquid tumors), Respiratory infections, and rare diseases (SCD and Ebola).
He began his professional clinical research career as a Study Coordinator at the Center for Aids Research at UNC-Chapel Hill, NC. After this, he became a CRA at PPD and grew organically from CRA I, CRA II, Senior CRA, CTM, and PM over six years. He has monitored, managed, and directed portfolios, and programs, in early phase 1, 2a/b, 2, FIH novel therapies, and advanced/cell therapies across multiple therapeutic areas.
Siechieh has worked on clinical studies on six of seven continents and has a solid understanding of Global Regulatory requirements and Quality Management in these countries. He enjoys working in MENA and APAC and has a solid foundation in clinical research capacity building. He loves working with virtual teams, encouraging, and meeting project deliverable timelines. He enjoys traveling, reading, writing, gardening, cooking, and spending time with his family.
