Prof. Yetunde Kuyinu is a Professor of Public Health and Community Medicine, a faculty in the department of Community Health & Primary Health Care, faculty of clinical Sciences of the Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM), and an honorary consultant to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. She is the Consultant in charge of Epidemiology Unit and the Chest Clinic in LASUTH.
Her research interests cut across epidemiology of communicable and non-communicable diseases, infection prevention and control, women health, adolescent reproductive health and primary health care services. She has published over 70 articles in peer reviewed journals both locally and internationally.
Prof. Kuyinu is a member of the governing council of the Lagos State University (senate Representative) and the Lagos State Biosecurity bank. She is the Chairperson of Lagos State University Teaching Hospital Health Research Ethics Committee, a member of the Lagos State Ministry of Health Research Ethics Committee and also a member of the Lagos State University Research Ethics Committee.
Currently, she is the chairperson of the association of public health physicians of Nigeria (APHPN), Lagos State branch. She is of the Christian Faith, happily married and the union is blessed with Godly children.
