    Regulatory Affairs Officer Kenya Pharmacy & Poisons Board (KPPB)

    Muthoni Kangai is a licensed pharmacist currently serving as a Regulatory Affairs officer at the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB). In this role, she supports Good Clinical Practice (GCP) inspections, contributes to the drafting and peer review of inspection reports, and assists in the evaluation of dossiers for market authorization to ensure compliance with national and international regulatory standards.

    Her professional interests span clinical trial regulation, GCP compliance, pharmacovigilance and dossier assessment, with a focus on strengthening regulatory systems and safeguarding public health. Muthoni previously Practiced as a Hospital pharmacist and a patient care and Pharmacovigilance focal person.

    She has also completed specialized training in Regulatory Affairs with the African Pharmaceutical Network, further enhancing her understanding of pharmaceutical regulation across Africa. Muthoni is driven by a passion for ensuring that medicines reaching the market are safe, effective, and of the highest quality.
