Samuel Kerama is a clinical pharmacist, and currently serves as a senior regulatory affairs expert at the Pharmacy and Poisons Board- Kenya. He holds a master’s degree in Clinical pharmacy from the university of Nairobi (Kenya) and a Master’s degree in Biotechnology Innovation and Regulatory Science from Purdue University (USA).
Kerama has actively been involved in regulation of medicines and health technologies for over 5 years in the areas of Good Manufacturing Practice, Bioequivalence assessment and pharmacovigilance, as well as a resource person within the East Africa (EAC) and Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) medicines regulatory harmonization forums. He has co-authored regulatory instruments on good distribution practices and management of pharmaceutical waste in Kenya.
He has a passion for professional development and mentorship in medicine safety and protection of the public health.
