Gurpreet is a medical trained professional with over 15 years of experience in the clinical research and development industry (Academic and Industry sponsored): Phases I-IV Hematology/ Oncology, Chronic Cancer Pain, HIV, Respiratory, Infectious Diseases (COVID-19), Neurology (Multiple Sclerosis and Lupus), and Genitourinary clinical trials. Gurpreet received his medical degree from Rostov State Medical University, Russia. Having a passion for curiosity he spent time doing research in the Department of Pathological Physiology.
He joined GBT in September-2021 as Director, Clinical Operations, and he leads GBT021601 program. Prior to joining GBT, he has held various positions (Study coordinator, Clinical Research Associate, Project Manager, Project Director) in the industry with CROs and Pharma companies. Gurpreet has a strong foundation in Clinical Development Operations. He excels in cross-functional team leadership with a keen ability to ensure project execution is aligned with strategic vision, maintaining quality at the forefront. When Gurpreet isn’t working, he enjoys time with his 2 energetic sons. An avid equestrian, he enjoys the occasional game of Polo, as well as gardening, hiking and cooking.
