Dr. Nneka Handschin is passionate about helping people become the healthiest version of themselves and has over 14 years of experience in Clinical Operations and Clinical Science.
Starting her career at Pfizer, UK, Dr. Nneka Handschin has worked as a Clinical Research Associate, Clinical Scientist and Clinical Project Manager with pharmaceutical companies including Pfizer, Roche, AMGEN and GW Pharmaceuticals, as well as contract research organisations, including INC Research and ICON, with expertise in multiple therapeutic areas including CNS, pain, respiratory, dermatology, oncology, infectious diseases and cardiovascular indications. Over the last five years, Dr. Handschin has consulted for pharmaceutical companies, financial institutions and government officials in England, North America and Africa under her limited company, Premier Clinical Research Ltd, UK.
As a result of her research at GW Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Handschin is also passionate about deciphering the therapeutic potential of plants in reversing chronic disease and promoting healing.
Dr. Nneka Handschin holds a PhD in Pharmacology from University of Cambridge, UK, a Masters degree in Pharmacology from University of Oxford, UK, a Postgraduate Certificate in Business from Said Business School, University of Oxford, UK and a Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
Dr. Handschin is happily married with two boys and in her spare time, loves to spend time with her family, read and make music.
