Abimbola Adebakin is a Certified Performance Technologist (CPT), a Pharmacist, management consultant and tech innovator who is keen to drive performance improvement in the African Healthcare system. She is the Founder/CEO of Advantage Health Africa powering myMedicines, myPharmacy, myLabs, myAdvantage as well as a pharmaceutical sales & marketing distribution venture, Advantage Pharma.
She previously led operations as COO of the Tony Elumelu Foundation, was a consultant at Financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC) and at Accenture. She has consulted for the World Bank, AAIN, AfDB IFC (Master Trainer corporate governance for Bank Directors) and facilitates for Institute of Directors (IoD) and FITC.
She serves on the board of Hallmark HMO as an independent director, Trustee of the Safe Medicines Foundation and is an alumnus of the African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative (AWEC), Cascador as well as the Joseph Business School (JBS) Nigeria where she emerged the Valedictorian of the pioneer set in 2021.
She is a winner, Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award (2021) and recipient of the Google Black Founders Fund (2021), winner of the popular vote for yNaija Person of the Year (2021) as well as the JBS Global Entrepreneur of the year (2022).
