Dr Adebowale Ademola

Dr Adebowale Ademola is a Paediatric Nephrologist at the Department of Paediatrics, University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan and Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan.
Dr Ademola’s medical training was at the University of Ibadan and then residency training at the University College Hospital, Ibadan. He underwent an International Paediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA) and International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD) training fellowship at the Red Cross War Memorial Children Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa.
He is the Director of the Paediatric Residency Training Program, Department of Paediatrics, UCH Ibadan. He is a site co-investigator for the NIH funded Human, Health and Heredity Study Kidney Disease Research Network multicenter and multi-country collaborative study of the genetic and environmental factors accounting for kidney disease in sub-Saharan Africa including a study of kidney disease in sickle cell anaemia.
He is a member of the African Regional Board of the International Society of Nephrology.
