Timi Edwin

Timi Edwin is the founder and CEO of CrimsonBow Sickle Cell Initiative. She is a sickle cell woman with 14year experience in the corporate field that cuts across HR, Finance, Business Development, Procurement, Administration and Consular duties. She has a BSC in Mass Communication from Covenant University, an MBA from Business School Netherlands, a certification in Nonprofit Leadership and Management Program from Lagos Business School and a fellow of African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperation (AWEC) and Leap Africa Social Innovators Program. She is the PR Head of the Coalition of Sickle Cell NGOs, the NCD Alliance non communicable diseases Ambassador, the editor-in-chief of “Our Views, Our Voices” Newsletter for People Living with NCDs.
She won a Hall of Fame Award at the 2018 Nigerian Volunteer Awards, was a nominee of the 2019 International Sickle Cell Advocate by Sickle Cell 101, Her Woman of the Year 2019 in community service and Resilience Award Winner for AWEC 2019 Fellowship.
She has tirelessly worked to ensure that thousands of sickle cell individuals are medically, emotionally and financially impacted. She is the brain behind all our projects that have ensure that thousands of people are impacted. With her help, her organization has won two international grants that are useful in advancing the sickle cell cause. She also tirelessly creates awareness for the sickle cell condition while ensuring that many have received free genotype and blood group tests across Lagos, Oyo, Ogun and Minna. She is an advocate for sickle cell policies
